Ts'ai Lun :

The world may not know him, but will always remember his invention; paper.

I made his portrait because I think it's so unfair for not knowing him as the inventor of paper, as we use paper for our daily literature/drawing purposes. I've made some research myself , asking 'Ts'ai Lun' to people, and most of them got no idea who he was.

Even wikipedia admit that he is "traditionally regarded as the inventor of paper and the papermaking process". He died of suicide, because his friends betray him. He was a Eunuch (kasim).

Reference : portrait of Ts'ai Lun-drawing on paper at Qin Dynasty's times.

Done in approximately 10-12 hours.
Drawing with (2) Snowman OPM medium on canvas (50x60cm)

NOT DONE YET : still have to put the colours.
